Hahahaaaaaa ok what IS it though about these things always happening when our husbands are out of town?! I love this though--laughed my way through the entire thing.
Ah, thank you!! I'm so glad it made you laugh!!! And yes, the number of totally crazy things that have happened when the husband is out of town?! Oh. My. Goodness.
RIGHT?!? It was definitely one of those moments where I was so glad Lilly was there and she is everything that she is!! And yes, we have definitely put some backup plans in place. We didn't use keys the entire time we lived in Korea because all the apartments/ houses have key pads. Locking myself out was impossible! It's quite an adjustment!!
"Second worst case: she succeeded without injury to herself but in doing so, the gutter was damaged or tiles came off the roof and they cost an exorbitant amount of money because it turned out they were special tiles made by Peruvian monks or something."
The first thing I thought when I saw this picture was "wow...those tiles aren't the cheap kind!"
The second: yes, bring Mr. Neighbor a plate of cookies. Who knows what side of the wall he was on when the country was split in two.
But WHAT AN ENDING!!! Seriously - when you make a German friend, they're your friend for life. It's not easy, but it's wonderful.
Haha!! It's funny because after I wrote this, I realized there's a huge stack of the tiles in a corner of our yard! So...whew!! But yes, I do think we'll take some cookies. It just feels weird. We didn't have our HHG's when we moved in, so no cookie-baking utensils. Then after we got them, it was a million degrees. And THEN, when it got cold enough again, I was like, Is it weird now?!? lol!! I overthink a lot.
Well I loved every bit of this. Esp the “am I gonna die?” Straight to “are you gonna spank me?” 🤣
The two most important questions when I was growing up!!! LOL!! Thanks for reading, I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
😂😂😂😂 right!!!!
This was so hilarious and wholesome, what a great memory!! I'm so glad the neighbor smiled! 😁
Also that is crazy about you guys jumping from ledge to ledge in Bangladesh!! 😆
Lol!! Coincidentally or not, we didn’t have TV. So... draw your own conclusions.
The true inspiration for parkour 🤣
